Either way, when they first enter the general Vine Zone, things are actually pretty innocuous! The vines aren't moving, at least, and there aren't any suspicious corpse-shaped lumps under them... Kashuu toes at one of the nearest pieces with his boot, making a face.]

Those vines do look a lot thicker now that they're up close though, huh? He steps up to the jungleish area himself, looking around at it all...copying Kashuu's toeing at it...maybe tugging at a vine with one hand.....hm.]
This seems like a job for more than just two uchigatanas, now that we look at it.....

But he'll watch Naki carefully when he moves to actually touch a vine with his hand. Nothing happens, at least! Yet. Naki might feel that the vine is a little unnaturally warm, though...]

If Naki is looking that way, he might actually see a little bit of movement over toward the far west side of the vine park...]

Regardless, Naki does drop the vine...just in time to catch that movement out of the corner of his eye. He turns his head to look--but it looks like he missed whatever it was?

[See, if there's actually something moving Naki's willing to be more careful...but Kashuu's apparently the opposite? He stays where he is for a second or two before following after the other sword, pointing a lone finger out towards the source of the possible danger.]

Carefully lifting his foot...there's so many vines, if they're not careful they might get their feet tangled in here! But more important than tangly vines right now is the fact that he just caught sight of something leafy slithering in maybe-possibly Kashuu's direction. A plant creature? A creature wearing plants? A creature that just happens to be covered in leaves?]
But Kashuu is looking forward at the time Naki spots their new friend, whatever it is. Good, sharp eye, fox comrades! He's immediately turning on his heel, on his guard.]

[Which ends up being a totally useless question, because the leafy slithering something surfaces for a brief second - still mostly obscured by jungle-y foliage. It's enough to get Kashuu to jump back several paces, though... Look at him go! It's like he's part kangaroo!]
[LORD. He's already tired and nothing's even happened yet...!
It is very difficult to jump back in vines and in heels though, and Kashuu isn't even sure how this thing works. Maybe it detects movement? Breath? Heat? WHO KNOWS. He stands still just in case.]
[It's still wiggling...but where is it going? Does even the plant know? Naki stares down at it, putting a hand to his vessel as he watches it poke around. Maybe it's searching for something?]
We could try...it's not connected to something larger, is it?
[...Well if it's not immediately dangerous, Kashuu takes a cautious step... away because he's not that much of a moron!! But he's watching it very closely.]
